Student welfare and support
The welfare team at Randwick Girls' High School is a committed and proactive
group that monitors the emotional and social welfare of each girl, and
works closely with parents to make sure that their daughters are educated
in a happy, secure and harmonious environment.

the School Counsellor and the Head Teacher - Welfare.
Currently the school runs programs for:
- Peer support scheme
- Peer mediation
- SCRAM
- Merit Award System
- Anti-Bullying and Anti-Racism policies
- "Buddy" systems for new students
- A comprehensive orientation program to ensure a happy and successful
introduction to Randwick Girls High School.
A A Message from the school counsellor It is important
to remember that everyone needs some help at some time in their life and
the first step is to ask for help. You can refer youself to me by knocking
on my door or slipping a note under the door. Sometimes teachers or parents
suggest it is a good idea to see me.
Some of the problems I get to help with are:
- Worries about schoolwork & exams
- Feeling down or depressed
- Arguments with family and friends
- Getting into trouble at school
- Family problems
So if you need help you know where to find me.
